"All else, just seeds and stems"

Like the invention of the wheel, the idea was so simple that you would wonder why no one has thought of it sooner. Photographer Bill Solo said he came up with the idea after realizing that almost everyone today has a digital camera capable of taking good quality photos. He realized that people can use his studio and expertise, gaining portrait quality photos at a price anyone can afford.

The idea came when he took pictures of his buddies while serving in the Marine corp in Viet Nam. His buddies would bring their film. Bill would then take the photos of his comrades. Give them back the film, and they would send it home , and the parents would have it developed. Bill realized people could just bring their film to his little studio on the south side of Milwaukee at 2221 S. Muskego Ave.

Thanks to the digital camera and its' ease of use, most people have one at home. However, most do not have a studio, or the lighting and expertise, to give them a portrait quality photo.
